Getting started
Keepsake keeps the pages you bookmark. When you save a link, Keepsake opens the page in a real browser and stores a private copy: readable text, a PDF, a thumbnail, and an index for search. The link can break later and the page stays with you.
Create an account
Open app.keepsake.run and choose to sign up. Enter your name and email, and Keepsake emails you a link, and opening it creates your account. After that you can sign in with an emailed link each time, or set a password under Settings. A new account starts on the free plan, and no card is needed.
Save your first link
Choose Archive a link in the library, paste an address, and save. Add tags and a note now or later. The bookmark appears at once, and its archive follows a moment after, once the page has been captured.
Find your way around
- Library lists every bookmark, newest first, with the details of the one you open beside it.
- Search looks through titles, notes, tags, and the text of every archived page.
- Tags shows each tag with how many bookmarks carry it.
- Settings holds your profile and password, the Pinboard import, API tokens, and your plan.
Bring what you already have
If your bookmarks live in Pinboard, import them and they arrive with their tags, notes, and original dates. To save from the browser in one click, connect the extension.
